Lately, the hot and dry weather in Malaysia have not been kind to my dry sensitive skin. I’m currently battling with severe heat rash, hives and discoid eczema all at once. It’s terrible! I can hardly sleep at night and the itching were so intense! And my body is all red and raw from all the scratching.

Have you ever heard of BABY FOOT MASK? Well, I haven’t! I didn’t even know such thing exist until recently. As far as I know, these originated from Japan back in 1997 but since then, many brands has come up with such foot masks. We are spoilt with choices here.

What is Baby Foot Masks?
In plain words, they are chemical exfoliator in the form of a foot mask to slough away all the dead skin, calluses on your feet.

Direction of Use:
1. Put on the BABY FOOT Mask after cleansing and drying your feet.

2. Take off the double-sided tape to seal the foot mask.
3. Cover with normal socks so that the mask can perfectly fit on and allow you to walk.
4. Remove the foot mask after 60 – 90 minutes and wash gently with water.
5. The dead skin cells will start to peel off naturally between 5 – 7 days after the initial application.
6. Recommended to repeat every 1 month (use once monthly).

There are two pairs of Baby Foot Masks in a box. Each foil packets will have one pair.

Remember to follow the instructions on the packaging before use. Each foot masks are cellulose sheets soaked and infused with ingredients that will help to exfoliate your feet.

Wash off after 90 minutes!

Your skin will began to peel after a day or two. It depends on individuals, some up to a week.

It’s gross but satisfying at the same time to peel off all these dead skin! I know, I’m weird that way😄 but refrain from over peeling them so that you don’t peel any new skin off.

After all the dead skin have been sliugh off, my feet are so smooth! Unbelievable!! See.. so silky smooth like newborn skin.

These Baby Foot Masks are painless but I did experienced slight tingling when I’m wearing the foot mask. It shows that the ingredients are working on your feet.

SKINFROSTINGS: Magic Eyes Instant Eyeshadows review.

Recently I discovered these instant eyeshadows available at www.supermodel2u.com for fast and fuss free services.

I never fail to put on eyeshadows every morning but I have to admit that it’s a hassle and I normally take about 15 minutes (more or less) to get them all done including blending them out so they won’t have those harsh lines and honestly, 15 minutes is quite a long time for me who doesn’t have a lot of time to spare, so I decided to get these instant eyeshadows to try out because It claims to achieve beautiful eyes in 10 seconds!

I tried to create smokey eyes using these instant eyeshadows. What do you think?

These instant eyeshadows are easy to use, press them on your eyelids, slide across and you’ll have beautiful eyeshadows that looked like you spent a long time one. If you see any harsh lines, blend them out with an eyeshadow brush but I find that I don’t need to do that because when I swiped ot across my lids, it’s already perfectly blended.

I do think magic eyes is a brilliant product because it helped me to create beautiful eyes  in less than 10 seconds! That is definitely way faster than me trying to create smokey eyes with brushes. I love it and have been using them more often lately to create more looks.

ENRICH BUTTER BY MABEL SAVONNIERE

Today I am featuring an all natural, homegrown brand known as Mabel Savonniere. A brand I’m fond of after trying them out for myself for the past few weeks.

Let’s jump right into it.

Mabel Savonniere skincare products I found are one of the best to tackle dry, flaky skin like mine. I have Discoid Eczema or also known as Nummular Eczema. It’s a rare but not unheard of type of eczema. My eczema started when I was younger but I didnt realised it at all until last few years. I’ve always assumed that it was mosquito bites or fungal infection. My previous dermatologist told me it was fungal infection which lasted for quite a while. The meds, the ointments weren’t doing anything for me. I began to suspect that it wasn’t fungal infection at all, maybe something much more serious. I did what I always do, research online. I was right, it’s not fungal infection at all, discoid eczema is more like it. I can understand the misdiagnosed because they do look extremely similar to fungal infection, only that it was weeping, dry, flaky skin and crusty. Gross!

By then, I was already on strong antihistamines, tried steroids to calm the inflammation couple of times for more than a year. I felt my body had been ravaged by all these chemicals. I could have sued them for malpractice but what’s the use, what’s done is done. No turning back.

That’s when I started looking into natural skincare to avoid irritation and reoccurrence. Mabel Savonniere skincare products are what I’m using at the moment.

Since I have eczema, I tried the Enrich Butter to sooth and moisturise my overly dry and itchy skin.

This balm has turn my life around. It not only sooth but kept my skin moisturised at all times even though I only used once a day. I like that it’s not that greasy, absorbed into the skin quickly. My skin is nicely hydrated without being slimey or oily.
