I’m back to trying new skincare products and I just discovered this korean skincare. It’s Beauty of Joseon, a popular korean skincare brand.

What it is
This serum is designed for those with concerns about pigmentation and uneven skin tone. Containing 68% rice bran water and 2% alpha arbutin, it helps to improve skin tone to become brighter and healthier.

Rice has played a very important role as a staple food and skin care ingredient in Korean history.
In the Joseon Dynasty, rice bran water was used like the toner of today, and was called Beauty Water, used for beautiful skin. Rice bran is rich in amino acids and minerals, helping to moisturize dry skin.
Alpha-Arbutin 2%
Alpha-Arbutin works by inhibiting the tyrosinase activity that limits the melanin production in your skin. Additionally, it is also known to have a 10 times greater effect than regular Beta-Arbutin.
I’m pretty excited about it because I heard it’s good. This serum is the first product I decided to try. This serum has a nice runny consistency. Very light. Absorb fast into my skin and doesn’t feel sticky at all. I layer it with my beloved moisturiser Belief Aqua Bomb sleeping mask. A nice combo.
So far so good! It’s definitely a win for me because it hydrate my skin, gives me a glow!! Looks dewy but not oily, you know what I mean 😂
