To celebrate G-SHOCK’S 30TH ANNIVERSARY, they came out with the DW-5030C which is the original classic model of the 1st ever G-SHOCK watch back in 1983. That is why this model is a must have for all serious G-SHOCK collectors. It also features the ‘PROJECT TEAM’ Tough logo to the dial. The black ion plated screw lock back cover is engraved with a specially designed logo from graffiti legend, Eric Haze.
To commemorate 30 years of G-Shock toughness, this model is made in Japan and has a very limited worldwide release.
Although this is a guy’s watch, but I love it on me. I think any girl can pull it off because this particular watch is so simple yet sleek and elegant. Great for outings to the beach and even mall. I love the fact that it has rose gold color on it which can be suitable for girls like me who enjoy outdoor activities. The watch sits nicely on my wrist without being too overwhelmingly large on me as I’m petite in size.

I love how it come in cardboard box instead of the modern tin can packaging. This adds a little nostalgic feel to it. I’m definately keeping the box.
Also it’s battery powered, no solar and no atomic. Simply old fashion and vintage. Just how I like it!
