Konjac sponges has play an important role in my cleansing routine and great at keeping acne at bay by thoroughly clean my pores and get rids of any gunks accumulated all through the day.

What are konjac sponge?
*konjac is a perennial plant also known as amorphophallus konjac, konnyaku or konjac potato.
They are cultivated for food in asia such as Japan and korea. They grow wild at very high altitude, thus being very pure and pollutant free.

They are natural and gently on our skin, even can be used on babies.

Konjac sponge comes in many types, shapes, sizes. Some are targeted for specific areas such as face or body.

The ones I like for face are from Sasa because they are much dense than other. Dense konjac sponge allows a much thorough cleansing and manual exfoliating without being too harsh on our skin.

They do shrunk when dry. To activate, just soak in warm water.

I use them twice a day with my preferred cleansers. You can feel how soft and smooth my skin is after I used them. My face feels so clean. Not even the tiniest makeup left to clog my pores. So happy!

Squeeze out excess water and hang them to dry after You’re done.

You do need to replace them often because they can harbour bacteria easily. I usually replace them every 2-3 months.
