Sun protection (SPF) is probably one if the most important thing in your skincare regime for your skin to stay young and healthy. There’s so many reasons why we should include sun protection in our everyday skincare routine. And we do get lazy from time to time, let’s be honest, because it’s such a hassle to apply sun protection and then moisturiser, foundations and so on. I have to admit that I fall into such a category. Partly because I dislike to put so many products on my face since I’m oily down the T-zone. The latest Hydro Boost is in gel form that absorbs quickly into the skin therefore it’s not stick or tacky at all. In fact, my face is matte and yet not dry or the tight feeling that I get when I don’t moisturise properly. I’m impressed. I tried the Hydro Boost Gel for a week now, thankfully I didn’t experience any breakouts. A huge plus in my book. It does have a strong scent when you first apply, but it disappeared quickly as the product dries down.

The gel texture is light, non greasy. No white cast at all unlike some suncreen does. It just melts into the skin like wearing nothing, it does moisturised my face just like a regular moisturiser would just with added sun protection. You can wear it alone or under makeup like I do. It acts as a primer as well for a smooth base before any bb creams or foundations.
